Two chiral bisoxazolines (box) supported on a modified poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) have been prepared by a reaction sequence that involved formation of the properly functionalized box and their attachment to the polymer matrix by means of a spacer and a linker. The solubility properties of PEG allowed use of the supported box as ligands in some catalytic asymmetric transformations carried out under homogeneous conditions and to recover the ligands as if bound to an insoluble support. When the supported box were employed in combination with Cu(II) salts in the Diels-Alder cycloaddition between cyclopentadiene and N-acryloyloxazolidinone, low levels of enantioselectivity were observed (up to 45% ee). Much better results were obtained in the cyclopropanation of styrenes carried out in the presence of CuOTf (up to 93% ee) and in the ene-reaction between alpha-methylstyrene or methylenecyclohexane and ethylglyoxalate (up to 95% ee). One of the ligands, readily recovered by precipitation and filtration, was recycled two times in the ene-reaction with marginal loss in the catalytic activity and very limited erosion of the enantioselectivity. 相似文献

In the present study, 334 samples of mussels (Mytilus galloprovincialis) harvested along the coasts of the Central Adriatic Sea during the years 2020–2021 were analyzed for the presence of lipophilic marine biotoxins according to the European Harmonized Standard Operating Procedure. The results showed that 74 (22%) and 84 (25%) samples were positive to okadaic acid and yessotoxin groups, respectively. Among them, only 11 (3.3%) samples resulted as non-compliant, as they exceeded the maximum limits (160 μg okadaic acid equivalent/kg) established by the Regulation (EC) 853/2004. The method applied in this study was able to detect and quantify lipophilic marine biotoxins concentrations, in order to monitor their presence in molluscs and avoid the risk of consumer exposure. 相似文献

Diffusion coefficients of drug compounds are crucial parameters used for modeling transport processes. Interestingly, diffusion of a solute can be generated not only by its own concentration gradient but also by concentration gradients of other solutes. This phenomenon is known as multicomponent diffusion. A multicomponent diffusion study on drug-surfactant-water ternary mixtures is reported here. Specifically, high-precision Rayleigh interferometry was used to determine multicomponent diffusion coefficients for the hydrocortisone-tyloxapol-water system at 25 degrees C. For comparison, diffusion measurements by dynamic light scattering were also performed. In addition, drug solubility was measured as a function of tyloxapol concentration, and drug-surfactant thermodynamic interactions using the two-phase partitioning model were characterized. The diffusion results are in agreement with a proposed coupled multicomponent diffusion model for ternary mixtures relevant to nonionic drug and surfactant molecules. Theoretical examination of diffusion-based drug transport in the presence of concentration gradients of micelles shows that drug fluxes and drug concentration profiles are significantly affected by coupled multicomponent diffusion. This work provides guidance for the development of accurate models of diffusion-based controlled release in multicomponent systems and for the applications of micelle concentration gradients to the modulation of diffusion-based drug transport. 相似文献

The analysis of plasma samples from healthy, diabetic and nephropathic subjects was carried out by 2D gel electrophoresis. This approach shows clear differences among the three classes of subjects. In the case of diabetic and nephropathic patients intense spots appear. Their enzymatic digestion followed by matrix assisted laser desorption ionization/mass spectrometry (MALDI/MS) analysis shows that an overexpression of unglycated and glycated ApoA-I is present in both pathological states. Interestingly, this trend is also observed for the retinol-binding protein (RBP). The data obtained can be relevant to assess possible risks associated either with the glycation level of ApoA-I or with the overexpression of RBP. In fact, in the former case possibly a different functionality of the glycated protein is to be expected, reflecting a different efficiency in cholesterol transport. In the latter case, the increase of RBP level can be related to the overweight of the diabetic subjects under investigation: it is known that obesity leads to RBP overexpression. In the case of nephropathic patients, the RBP level increases in parallel with serum creatinin. 相似文献

The synthesis, characterization, and host-guest chemistry of high-generation triazine dendrimers are described. With pyrene and camptothecin as guests, experiments revealed that the guest capacity of odd-generation triazine dendrimers increased until generation 7 but decreased at generation 9. Molecular dynamics simulations conducted in explicit solvent showed a useful fingerprint for this behavior in radial distribution functions of water molecules penetrating the interior of the dendrimers. A linear relationship between the guest capacity of dendrimers measured experimentally and the number of water molecules within the interior determined computationally was observed. 相似文献

Rayleigh interferometry is a precise macroscopic gradient technique that has been utilized for the determination of multicomponent diffusion coefficients. Because concentration gradients in multicomponent systems drive a diffusion-based partial separation of different solutes, this interferometric technique may be potentially used for the determination of solute concentrations. We have therefore theoretically examined how Rayleigh interferometry can be applied for the determination of composition of ternary aqueous mixtures. The effect of cross-term diffusion coefficients on the accuracy of this method is also discussed. Furthermore, since the poly(vinyl)alcohol+poly(ethylene)glycol+water system undergoes liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS), we have experimentally characterized its LLPS boundary at 25 °C. Addition reactions between Rawal’s diene and different carbonyl compounds are rapidly and efficiently promoted by water. No catalyst or any other additive, water as an eco-friendly medium, clean reaction conditions, a simple work-up, and short reaction times are the salient features in this procedure.
